Solution: Pinlock®’s brand new Overlay. The Overlay makes use of advanced photochromatic technology, integrating into an innovative external visor concept. The Overlay Lens changes from clear to dark smoke in a matter of seconds, depending on light conditions.
- The technology of the Overlay utilizes a UV-sensitive photochromatic film sandwiched between two premium quality polycarbonate layers. These layers are treated with a special anti-scratch coating without any UV blockers. The Overlay is mounted on the specially developed Pinlock® Tear-Off Pins (included) that accommodate both the Overlay on the outside and the Pinlock® anti-fog insert lens on the inside of the shield. This concept offers the best of both worlds: perfect anti-fog and anti-glare properties.
