The SHOEI RF-1400 Origami 2 represents the latest evolution of SHOEI’s long-running RF road helmet series. Developed through extensive wind tunnel testing, the AIM+ multi-ply matrix shell is shaped to reduce lift and drag compared to the RF-1200, contributing to improved stability and airflow during highway and sport riding. Multiple layers of fiberglass and organic fibers provide a strong yet lightweight shell structure.
Six intake vents and four exhaust vents work together to circulate air through the helmet. A dual-layer, multi-density EPS liner enhances impact management, while advanced noise reduction features help limit wind turbulence around the shell. The CWR-F2 shield and base plate system provides a wide field of view, UV protection, and a secure seal through redesigned window beading that helps block wind and water. Inside, the 3D Max-Dry Interior System II absorbs and disperses moisture effectively and is fully removable and washable. The RF-1400 Origami 2 includes a chin curtain, breath guard, Pinlock® EVO lens, and Emergency Quick-Release System, making it well suited for focused road use.
