Get All of Your Motocross Gear from Motorcycle Closeouts

At Motorcycle Closeouts, our Shoei motorcycle helmets cover street riding, touring, and off-road use in full-face, modular, and open-face shapes. Shoei has built helmets in Japan since 1959 and remains one of the few helmet manufacturers that still makes everything in-house, at its own plants in Ibaraki and Iwate. Every Shoei helmet we carry meets DOT safety standards and ships with the full manufacturer's warranty. You get the same lid sold at full retail, marked down 30%, 50%, or more.

Inside a Shoei Shell

Shoei's AIM and AIM+ shells layer fiberglass with organic and high-performance fibers, so the shell stays strong without piling on weight. Inside, a multi-density EPS liner soaks up impact and carries air channels that feed the ventilation system. Brow and chin vents pull air in while rear exhaust ports push heat out, and that airflow does most of the work for comfort on hot days and long hours in the saddle. Shoei shapes these helmets in its own wind tunnel to cut lift, drag, and noise.

Pick the Shoei That Fits Your Ride

Start with how you ride. The RF-1400 is a full-face helmet aimed at street and sport riders, with a light shell and a wide eye port that keeps your view open so nothing crowds your reaction time. The GT-Air suits a long road trip, with touring features like a drop-down sun visor for direct sunlight and a built-in channel for Sena SRL units that install with no external hardware, so you get intercom audio and GPS navigation prompts. The Neotec flips open at stops, and the J-Cruise helmet gives you open-face airflow with a sun visor still on board. Measure your head against the size chart before you buy, then find the best version for you.

I have ordered many items from the site and have always had a great experience. The prices seem fair, the products have been of good quality, and shipping has been prompt. I will continue to but from Motorcycle Closeouts.

Keep Your Helmet Ready to Ride

A little upkeep keeps a Shoei working season after season. Pull the liner and cheek pads, hand wash them in mild soap, and let them air dry before you put them back. Clean the shell and visor with warm water and a soft cloth, since solvents and household cleaners can haze the coating. Store the helmet somewhere cool and dry out of direct sunlight, and check the chin strap and vents now and then. Swap the visor once scratches start catching headlights at night.
