The helmet should sit level on your head and cover your forehead above your eyebrows but should not tip forward or backward. The helmet should not wobble when you shake your head either. You want the helmet strap to be secure around your chin without choking you. You should be able to slide 2 fingers between the strap and your chin. Other things you should consider are: frame material, components such as brakes, gears and wheels and the quality of these components, and then of course the price and how you feel when you ride it. Overall, choosing the right bike involves finding the right balance between quality, performance, and affordability, while also ensuring that it fits you properly and is designed for your intended use.
