Properly maintaining your moto gear is simple with these essential care tips: machine wash jerseys and pants in cold water with mild detergent (avoiding fabric softeners) and air dry, while gloves should be hand washed, reshaped while damp, and air dried to preserve their form. For helmets, only use mild soap and water (never petroleum-based cleaners), remove liners for separate washing, and keep boots clean by stuffing them with newspaper when wet and conditioning leather surfaces appropriately.
